Tyne Cot















Named because the German bunkers apparently looked like a row of Tyneside cottages to some as they looked up the hillside. One of the largest British Cemeteries, and includes the memorial to the fallen with no known grave from the Ypres Salient after they filled up the Menin Gate (15 August 1917).

I like that they kept some of the bunkers as part of the cemetery.
